Barbara S. Williams has practiced personal injury law since 1988. She is currently “Of Counsel” to the firm.

Barbara zealously represents her clients and is a seasoned trial lawyer with many sizable verdicts and settlements under her belt. Each client’s case is different, and each case gets the attention to detail and navigation that is required in today’s litigation environment.

Every case Barbara accepts is prepared for trial. She knows that the insurance carriers will deny, delay and not pay without a trial date. However, when the insurance company is willing to compromise a case, Barbara has established a reputation amongst her peers and the insurance industry for her negotiation skills. Barbara’s more than 30 years of experience studying and working with insurance companies helped build and hone those skills, and she strategically positions her clients’ cases when a more collaborative approach is the best strategy for their case.

On a compassionate note, Barbara has an acute understanding of the fear and uncertainty that her clients and their families experience after a catastrophic car accident or a life-changing surgical complication. Barbara and her entire team are committed to their clients’ healing and provide peace of mind assuring clients they can leave the legal strategy to them.
Throughout her career, Barbara has represented clients in all kinds of personal injury cases, from small to complex. She has represented families and their loved ones injured or killed by drunk drivers, tractor-trailers and car accidents, particularly along the Interstate 81 corridor.

Barbara is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the United States District Courts (Eastern and Western Divisions) of Virginia.
